Tammoria and Kurtis, firm believers in divine timing, have a love story that unfolded organically. Their journey began in the most unexpected of places: Metro Center Mall’s Footlocker, where Kurtis couldn’t help but notice more than just the shoes. After exchanging numbers, they embarked on a series of food dates, their first at Ellis Seafood, and even met each other’s families. Although they briefly parted ways after a few dates, their friendship remained unwavering.

In 2015, fate intervened as Kurtis returned to Mississippi, reuniting with Tammoria for the third time. As they say, good things come in threes. After years of friendship, they realized it was time for something more. On March 15, 2015, after years of pursuit, Kurt asked Tammoria to be his girlfriend, despite her initial reservations. She was now a mother of a 2-year-old son, and Kurtis had a newborn daughter. Their relationship flourished, and they decided to move in together. Five years later, they welcomed their princess, TRU, further blending their family.

The engagement came as a surprise to both of them, as they never had marriage at the forefront of their minds. On June 10th, on the “Tip of the White Cane Palms” in Punta Cana, Kurtis professed his love and said he couldn’t do life without Tammoria. Eight years and several children later, they are preparing to say “I DO” on the stunning palm coast of Costa Rica, a place as beautiful as their love story. Tammoria, who once never thought about marriage, is now eagerly embracing her forever with Kurtis, who once didn’t believe in it.
